Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 688Plants 18–25 cm tall, acaulescent or very shortly caulescent, covered with soft, white or in age brownish hairs up to 2 mm. Rootstock simple or divided with short stolons. Stipules whitish- membranous, 8–12 mm, adnate to the petiole for 3–5 mm, the lower ones narrowly ovate, obtuse, ciliate at the margins, the upper ones narrowly triangular, acute, hairy especially toward the tip. Leaves 15–25 cm; petiole 3–7 cm, like the rachis loosely to rather densely covered with tangled, ± spreading hairs 0.3–1.5(–2) mm. Leaflets in (12–)15–17 pairs, ovate to obovate or narrowly ovate to narrowly obovate, 8–15 × 4–8 mm, rounded and sometimes with a minute cusp, on upper side glabrous, on underside loosely to densely covered with short, appressed to ascending hairs. Peduncles 6–14 cm, hairy like the rachis. Racemes 6−13 cm, very loosely 6–10-flowered. Bracts greenish or whitish- membranous and then often with a greenish mid-stripe, 7–13 mm, linear-acuminate, hairy. Pedicels 3–5 mm, with spreading hairs. Bracteoles sometimes present, linear, 2–3 mm, at the base of calyx. Calyx 12–16 mm, narrowly tubular, greenish, sparsely to loosely covered with spreading hairs; teeth linear-acute, 2–5 mm. Petals yellow. Standard 26–27 mm; blade obovate, 8–10 mm wide, in lower part slightly constricted, at the base angularly narrowed. Wings 23–24 mm; blades narrowly oblong, slightly dilated upward, rounded, c. 11 × 3.5 mm; auricle 2.5–3 mm, claw 12–13 mm. Keel 21–22 mm; blades obliquely elliptic-curved, with widely curved lower edge, and concave to sigmoid upper edge, in apical part densely furnished with minute teeth, slightly beak-like narrowed toward the obtuse tip, 7–8 × 3.5 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 14 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe c. 5 mm, hairy; style glabrous. Legumes with a stipe 7–9 mm, oblong, 18–20 mm long, 7–8 mm high and 10–11 mm wide, widely flattened ventrally and dorsally, with a beak 1–2 mm, nearly completely bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, brown to dark brown, loosely covered with nearly spreading long hairs or glabrous when completely ripe. Seeds 4 × 3 mm, reddish brown.
