Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1921Plants 20–50 cm tall, subshrubby, covered with ± medifixed appressed hairs. Rootstock up to 12 mm in diameter, divided, with short branches, covered with dark brownish bark. Stems erect, branched in lower parts, the older parts short, covered with grey brownish to dark brownish bark, stems of the current year 5–20(–25) cm, densely covered with white hairs 0.5–0.8 mm. Stipules narrowly triangular, 2.5–4 mm, very shortly adnate to the petiole, sparsely white and black hairy, often glabrate at the base. Leaves 3–8 cm; petiole 0.5–2.8 cm, like the rachis densely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 4–8 pairs, narrowly linear to narrowly elliptic, 7–20 × 0.75–2 mm, acute, on both sides rather densely covered with white hairs 1–1.5 mm. Peduncles 5–15 cm, densely hairy like the stem. Racemes 5–15 cm long, loosely 10–15-flowered; axis white hairy like the peduncle. Bracts whitish-membranous, narrowly triangular, 2–4 mm, black and white hairy, at the margins with basifixed hairs. Pedicels 1–1.5(–3) mm, white and black hairy. Calyx 15–18 mm, narrowly tubular, slightly obliquely gibbous at the base, obliquely cut at the mouth, densely covered with appressed white hairs 0.8–1 mm and with five longitudinal lines along the main nerves with appressed black hairs 0.3–0.5 mm, therefore distinctly white-black-striate; teeth subulate, slightly unequal, the shorter ones 2.5–5, the longer ones 3–6 mm, densely covered with very thin, short, white hairs on inner side. Petals yellow. Standard 21–25 mm; blade 7–10 mm wide, obovate, widely rounded, slightly constricted below the middle, at the base subangular to gradually narrowed into the long claw. Wings 20–23 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded or very slightly emarginate, 6–8.5 × 1.5–3 mm; auricle 0.5–1 mm, claw 12–15 mm. Keel 18–21 mm; blades obliquely triangular-obovate, with in upper third widely, nearly reactangularly curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, rounded, 4–6 × 2.5–3 mm; auricle short, claw 14–15 mm. Stamen-tube truncate to slightly obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary subsessile, narrowly linear, hairy; style glabrous. Legumes subsessile, linear, c. 18 mm long, 2.5–3 mm high, keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, with a beak c. 4.5 mm, nearly fully bilocular; valves densely appressed white hairy. Seeds 2.5 × 1 mm.
