Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 2158Plants 8–25 cm tall, loosely caespitose, covered with mostly medifixed hairs. Rootstock stout, up to 20 mm in diameter, repeatedly divided, end-branches mostly short. Stems 4–15 cm, loosely covered with appressed white hairs 0.3–0.5 mm. Stipules whitish-hyalin, 2–4 mm, free from petiole, high up connate behind the stem, the free tips triangular, sparsely to loosely covered with appressed white or black or white and black hairs. Leaves 2–4 cm; petiole 0.5–1 cm, like the rachis slender, rather densely covered with appressed white hairs. Leaflets in 4–8 pairs, obovate to elliptic, (1–)2–8 × 1–4 mm, obtuse to subacute, on both sides rather densely to densely covered with white, appressed hairs up to 0.5 mm. Peduncles 2–5(–8) cm, hairy like the stem but below the raceme also with black hairs. Raceme globose, densely 5–10-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, ovate to obovate, 2–5 mm, mostly black hairy. Calyx at anthesis tubular, 8–13 mm, soon inflated, globose to ovoid in fruit, 10–15 (–17) mm, rather densely covered with appressed to ascending, symmetrically to strongly asymmetrically bifurcate black hairs 0.1–1 mm and with ± spreading, rarely subappressed, extremely asymmetrically bifurcate to basifixed, mostly longer white hairs in different relations; teeth narrowly triangular to triangular, 1–2 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals violet or pink. Standard 17–21 mm; blade obovate, 7–9 mm wide, emarginate, constricted below the middle, rather long gradually narrowed at the base. Wings 17–20 mm; blades obtriangular, widest at the obliquely bilobed tip, 6–7.5 × 2.5–4 mm; auricle 0.5–0.7 mm, claw 11–12.5 mm. Keel 14–17 mm; blades obliquely obovate- curved, with in distal part rectangularly curved lower edge and sigmoid upper edge, subacute, 4.5–5 × 2.5–2.8 mm, auricle minute, claw 9–13 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary very shortly stipitate, ellipsoid, densely white villous; style glabrous. Legumes with a stipe 0.5–1.5 mm, enclosed in the calyx, obliquely oblong, 5–9 mm long, 3–3.5 mm high, compressed laterally, keeled ventrally, rounded to grooved dorsally, obtuse, with a strongly bent slender persistent style 0.6–2 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thin. densely covered with spreading, extremely asymmetrically bifurcate to basifixed white hairs up to 1.5 mm and often also with much shorter black hairs. Chromosome number: 2n = 16 (TAKHTAJAN 1990: as A. orthanthoides).
