Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 2333Plants 10–35 cm tall, nearly acaulescent, caespitose, in vegetative parts covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.4–0.6 mm. Rootstock divided with short to elongated blackish brown branches. Stems branched at the base, older parts with blackish bark and covered with hardened and partly subspiny remnants of old leaves, parts of the current year 0.5–4 cm, densely appressed white hairy. Stipules whitish-membranous, 4–8 mm, shortly adnate to the petiole, otherwise free from each other, loosely to densely appressed hairy, sometimes only toward the margins, the free tips short, triangular, hairy also on the inner (upper) side at least in upper part. Leaves 7–14 cm; petiole 1–4 cm, like the rachis rigid, peristent, densely hairy. Leaflets in 3–5 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 9–20(–28) × 4–6 mm, acute or very shortly acuminate, on both sides densely silvery, appressed hairy. Peduncles 10–23 cm, with appressed white hairs. Racemes shortly ovoid, densely many-flowered, at fruiting time elongated and up to 9 cm long; axis with white or white and black hairs. Bracts whitish-membranous, 3–5 mm, narrowly triangular, only at the margins black ciliate. Pedicels c. 1 mm, white and black hairy. Calyx at flowering time tubular, 9–11 mm, toeard the teeth with appressed white and black hairs; teeth 2–3 mm; fruiting calyx inflated, ovoid-globose, (12–)14–20 mm, constricted at the throat, covered with scattered hairs. Petals yellow. Standard 16–18 mm; blade obovate, 5–6 mm wide, slightly emarginate, slightly constricted in the middle, obtusely angularly passing into the rather long claw. Wings 15–16 mm; blades narrowly oblong, slightly dilated upward, slightly and obliquely emarginate, c. 6 × 2 mm; auricle 0.5 mm, claw 9–10 mm. Keel 14–15 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and ± straight upper edge, subacute, c. 4 × 2.5 mm; auricle minute, claw 9–10 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe c. 1 mm, densely appressed hairy; style hairy only at the base. Legumes enclosed in the calyx, subsessile, oblong, 6–8 mm long, 2−3 mm high and wide, keeled ventrally, flattened dorsally, abruptly contracted into a slender, hooked beak 2−3 mm, unilocular; valves thin, straw-colored, densely covered with appressed white hairs 0.5–1 mm. Seeds 2–3, ± triangular, 2 × 2 mm, olive-brown.
