Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1924Plants 15−22 cm tall, caespitose. Rootstock divided, with short, ligneous branches covered with blackish bark. Stems of the current year 5−10 cm, erect or ascending, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−1 mm. Stipules 3−3.5 mm, narrowly triangular, very shorty adnate to the petiole, appressed white hairy, at the base sometimes with black hairs mixed in. Leaves 2−6 cm; petiole 1−2 cm, like the rachis sulcate adaxially, rather densely hairy like the stem.. Leaflets in 4−8 pairs, narrowly oblong, 8−18 × 1.5−4 mm, obtuse to slightly retuse, on both sides rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 1−1.2 mm. Peduncles 4−8 cm, loosely to rather densely hairy like the rachis, sometimes with few black hairs mixed in. Racemes short, c. 2.5 cm long, 8−10-flowered, elongating in fruit. Bracts membranous, 3−4 mm, narrowly triangular, hairy. Pedicels c. 1 mm, hairy. Calyx 9−10 mm, tubular, rather densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs c. 0.8 mm and with shorter black hairs; teeth 1.5−2.5 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals whitish. Standard 20−22(−28) mm; blade 9−11 mm wide, obovate, deeply incised, at the base ± gradually narrowed into the short claw. Wings c. 17(−20) mm; blades obovate-spathulate, obliquely emarginate, c. 8 × 3 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 9−10 mm. Keel c. 14(−17) mm; blades obliquely obovate, with in upper part rectangularly curved lower edge and ± straight upper edge, subobtuse, 5 × 2.5 mm; auricle c. 0.3 mm, claw c. 9 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary shortly stipitate, linear, white hairy; style short, glabrous. Legumes linear, straight, 20−30 mm long, 2−3 mm high, carinate ventrally, deeply grooved dorsally, subtriangular in cross-section; valves with appressed white hairs, with few black hairs mixed in.
