Rootstock up to 15 mm in diameter, with a pluricipital root-crown, with short to elongated subterranean stolons in upper part covered with remnants of old leaves. Stems several, covered with spreading white hairs 0.3−0.5 mm. Stipules white-membranous, 7−12 mm, with longitudinal nerves, the lower ones ovate-obtuse, the upper ones narrowly triangular-acuminate, all adnate to the petiole for 3−5 mm, at the margins and sometimes toward the tip loosely to densely hairy. Leaves 5−20 cm; petiole 2.5−5 cm, like the rachis densely covered with tangled, spreading hairs 0.3−1 mm. Leaflets 4–6-verticillate in 8–14(–20) approximate whorls, narrowly elliptic to narrowly obovate, 5−10 × 2−4 mm, rounded to subacute, on upper side glabrous or nearly so, on underside densely villous with appressed to spreading hairs, folded. Keel 17−18 mm; blades obovate-triangular, with in upper part rectangularly curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, obtuse, c. 6 × 3.5 mm; auricle indistinct, claw 11−12 mm. Stamen-tube very obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe c. 2 mm, densely villous; style hairy in lower half. Legumes with a stipe 2−3 mm, obliquely narrowly ellipsoid, 12−18 mm long, 4−5 mm high and wide, keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, contracted into a beak 2−3 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thin, densely villous with spreading hairs; fruit opening at the ventral suture.
