Stipules white-membranous, 10−18 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 3 mm, the lower ones oblong, obtuse, the upper ones narrowly traingular-acute, all densely hairy. Leaves 5−20 cm; petiole (2−)4−7 cm, like the rachis covered with a double indumentum of dense spreading hairs 0.2−1 mm and fewer hairs 3−4 mm. Leaflets 3(−4)-verticillate in (19−)15−25 whorls, narrowly elliptic, 5−15 × 2−4 mm, obtuse, on both sides densely covered with ascending long hairs, often folded. Racemes sessile or subsessile, 2−3-flowered. Bracts white-membranous, 6−8 mm, linear- acuminate, densely hairy. Pedicels 3−4 mm, with spreading hairs. Calyx tubular, 14−16 mm, with long ascending to spreading hairs; teeth 6−8 mm, subulate. Petals glabrous, yellow, fading red. Standard (16−)18−20(−24) mm; blade 7−8 mm wide, obovate- panduriform, emarginate, in lower third slightly constricted, angularly passing into the claw. Wings 16−19 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, 7−8 × 2−3 mm; auricle c. 2 mm, claw 9−11 mm. Keel 15−18 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with in upper part rectangularly curved lower edge and distinctly concave upper edge, obtuse, 6−7 × 3−3.5 mm; auricle short, acute, claw 9−11 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary subsessile or with a stipe up to 2 mm, densely hairy; style glabrous. Legumes with a stipe c. 2 mm, ellipsoid, 9−13 mm long, 4−5 mm high and 7−8 mm wide, keeled ventrally, widely rounded to shallowly grooved dorsally, with a beak 1−2 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, pale brown, densely covered with thin, long, spreading hairs; fruit opening along the ventral suture. Seeds c. 3 × 2 mm, grey brown with darker dots.
