Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. II, p. 1545Plants 25–80 cm tall, covered with appressed to sometimes subappressed, ± symmetrically to strongly asymmetrically bifurcate hairs 0.2–0.4(–0.6) mm. Rootstock up to 15 mm in diameter, with a pluricipital root-crown. Stems mostly several, 20–60 cm, often branched with very short side-branches, erect or ascending at the base, angular-sulcate, loosely to densely covered with appressed, tangled, often flexuose white, at the nodes also black hairs 0.3–0.5 mm and with few ascending hairs up to 1 mm. Stipules whitish-membranous, 6–11 mm, free from the petiole, shortly to highly up connate behind the stem, with short narrowly triangular free tips, later on sometimes splitting to the base, subglabrous to loosely or more rarely to rather densely covered with appressed white and often few black hairs, especially at the base, at the margins with basifixed hairs and with minute, short stalked glands. Leaves 5–12 cm; petiole short, 0.5–1 cm, like the rachis loosely to rather densely covered with ± appressed to subappressed, tangled white hairs up to 0.5 mm. Leaflets in 7–14 pairs, narrowly elliptic to more rarely linear, 7–19(–25) × 1.5–7(–10) mm, rounded or obtuse, more rarely acute, mostly very shortly mucronulate, glabrous on upper side or covered with scattered hairs only, on underside and at the margins densely or more rarely loosely covered with appressed, flat hairs. Peduncles 6–23 cm, angular-sulcate, hairy like the stem. Racemes oblong, at anthesis up to 8 cm long, rather densely many-flowered, in fruit elongating; axis white and black hairy. Bracts whitish- membranous, 3–6 mm, linear-acute to narrowly triangular, black and predominantly white hairy. Pedicels 1–2 mm, predominantly black hairy, curved, flowers therefore at anthesis ± spreading, later on nodding. Bracteoles whitish, linear, 1–3 mm, at the base of the calyx or in upper part of pedicel. Calyx 8–10 mm, widely tubular, strongly obliquely gibbous at the base, slightly obliquely cut at the mouth, loosely or rarely rather densely covered with appressed to ascending, mostly strongly asymmetrically bifurcate to subbasifixed black or mixed white and black hairs; teeth unequal, the uppe two triangular, the lower three triangular-subulate, 1–2 mm, all densely white or black hairy on inner side. Petals greenish white, the standard often ± purple-tinged, especially at the margins. Standard 14–17 mm; blade obovate, 6–8 mm wide, widely rounded and emarginate, ± gradually narrowed into the short claw. Wings 12–13 mm; blades obovate-spathulate or oblong, emarginate, 6–7 × 2.5–3.5 mm; auricle 1.5–2 mm, claw 6–7 mm. Keel 11–12 mm; blades obliquely elliptis, with widely curved lower edge and nearly straight upper edge, obtuse, 5–6 × 2.5–3.5 mm; auricle 0.5 mm, claw 6 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary subsessile to shortly stipitate, linear, slightly hairy; style thickish, short, glabrous. Legumes sessile, nodding, narrowly oblong, 11–20(–25) mm long, 3–5 mm high and 5–7 mm wide, rounded but slightly keeled by the thickish nerve ventrally, slightly grooved dorsally, abruptly contracted into a beak 1–2 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, slightly transversally rugulose, brownish, in the youth densely black hairy, later on black and white hairy and soon glabrescent, often completely glabrous in age. Seeds 6–10, roundish- quadrangular, c. 2–3 × 1.8–2 mm, olive green, smooth.
