Stems erect, 4−17 cm, angled, densely covered with spreading white hairs, below the nodes and very sparsely elsewhere with black hairs mixed in. Leaves 5−8(−12) cm; petiole 1−3 cm, rather sparsely covered with spreading hairs. Leaflets in 4−5(−6) pairs, narrowly elliptic to linear, 10−30 × 2−4 mm acute, on upper side with scattered hairs only, on underside densely villous with nearly spreading hairs. Peduncles 5−10(−15) cm, densely covered with spreading white hairs, below the raceme and scattered elsewhere with black hairs mixed in. Racemes cylindrical, 5−10 cm long and 2.5−3 cm in diameter, many-flowered. Bracts 7−9(−13) mm, linear, covered with spreading white and fewer black hairs.
