Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 1813Plants 20−40 cm tall. Rootstock with a pluricipital root-crown. Stems several, 12−30 cm, ascending to erect, with long internodes, loosely to rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.4−0.5 mm, with some black hairs mixed in, partly glabrescent with age. Stipules membranous, 3−5 mm, the lower ones triangular-ovate, the lowest ones distinctly vaginate-connate, glabrous or subglabrous, those of middle and upper leaves narrowly triangular, free from each other, sparsely covered with white and black hairs, at the margins also with basifixed hairs and with minute, subsesssile glands. Leaves 5−9 cm; petiole 1−2 cm, like the rachis slender, sparsely to loosely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 5−8 pairs, linear, 10−20 × 0.5−2.5(−3) mm, acute, glabrous on upper side, sparsely to loosely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.5−0.7 mm on underside. Peduncles 6−11 cm, erect, sparsely to loosely hairy like the stem. Racemes 4−7 cm long, loosely up to 20-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, 2−3 mm, narrowly triangular, subglabrous to sparsely covered with white and predominantly black hairs, at the margins also with basifixed hairs and subsessile, minute glands. Calyx 4.5−6 mm, campanulate-tubular, obliquely cut at the mouth, loosely covered with appressed, medifixed white and predominantly black hairs 0.3−0.5 mm; teeth subulate, 1.5−2 mm, subglabrous on inner side. Petals violet. Standard 12−13 mm; blade c. 5 mm wide, ovate, subabruptly and distinctly tongue-like narrowed upward, slightly retuse, at the base cuneately narrowed. Wings 9.5−10 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, c. 5 × 1 mm; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw 5 mm. Keel 7−8 mm; blades obliquely obovate-curved, with widely curved lower edge and concave upper edge, obtuse, c. 3.5 × 1.5 mm; auricle 0.3 mm, claw 5 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, sparsely hairy; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, obliquely ascending, narrowly oblong, 9−10 mm long, c. 2 mm high, acutely keeled ventrally, with a straight beak c. 1 mm, bilocular; valves dorsally with appressed white and predominantly black hairs.
