Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 2272Plants 10–35 cm tall, with appressed, in vegetative parts merely white, ± medifixed hairs 0.5–0.8 mm. Rootstock to 20 mm in diameter, with a pluricipital root-crown, often repeatedly branched, branches short, in upper part densely covered with remnants of old leaves. Stipules 10–13 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 5 mm, free parts linear-acuminate, densely appressed hairy. Leaves 5–25 cm; petiole 2–11 cm, like the rachis slightly sulcate adaxially, loosely to rather densely hairy, sometimes flattened and with undulate margins. Leaflets in 4–8 pairs, elliptic, 6–25 × 4–15 mm, obtuse to widely rounded or shortly acuminate-mucronulate, sparsely to loosely hairy. Peduncles 6–30 cm, mostly straight, often strong, angular-sulcate, loosely to rather densely white, toward the raceme increasingly black hairy. Racemes ovoid to cylindric, rather densely many-flowered, not or scarcely elongated in fruit. Bracts whitish-membranous, from ovate base long acuminate, 3–7 mm, sparsely hairy and ciliate, at the margin with subsessile, short glands. Pedicels 0.5–1 mm, black hairy. Bracteoles absent or very rarely present, c. 1 mm. Calyx 7–10 mm, tubular, slightly inflated, obliquely cut at the mouth, loosely covered with appressed, medifixed, white and predominantly black hairs 0.2–0.3 mm; teeth narrowly triangular to linear-acuminate, 1.5–4 mm, densely white hairy on inner side. Petals violet. Standard 20–25 mm; blade 6–8 mm wide, narrowly oblong-elliptic, gradually and slightly narrowed upward, retuse or entire, at the base narrowed into the short cuneate claw. Wings 16–20 mm; blades narrowly oblong, sometimes narrowed upward, retuse to bifid, 8–10.5 × 2.2–2.5 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 7–9 mm. Keel 13–17 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with widely curved lower edge and curved upper edge, subacute, 6–7 × 2.5–3 mm; auricle short, claw 7–9 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, narrowly ovoid, white hairy; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, erect, narrowly ovoid-oblong, widened at the base 10–13 mm long, 4–4.5 mm high, c. 4 mm wide, keeled ventrally, deeply and widely grooved dorsally, in cross-section triangular-cordate, with a slender beak somewhat bent to the dorsal side, 2–3 mm, nearly completely bilocular; valves thin, straw-colored to brownish, loosely white hairy, glabrescent to nearly glabrous when ripe. Seeds 6–7 in each locule, oblong- reniform to widely ovoid-reniform, 3–4 × 2.5–3 mm, brown, smooth, shiny. Chromosome number: 2n = 16 (TAKHTAJAN 1990).
