Hairs 0.2−1 mm, at the calyx up to 4.5 mm, mostly very thin, at the calyx somewhat thicker. Stems up to 35 cm, from a prostrate base ascending; parts of the current year 1−15 cm, 1.5−3.5 mm in diameter, densely appressed lanate, gradually glabrescent. Stipules yellowish white, hyaline- membranous, hyaline, 7−12 mm, narrowly triangular, acute, adnate to the petiole for 4−6 mm, otherwise free, with 8−13 parallel nerves at free portion, sparsely appressed hairy, soon glabrescent, ciliate at the margins. Leaves 1.6−5.5 cm, remote; obliquely erect to horizontal; petiole 0.5−1 cm, like the rachis thick, rigid, densely covered with spreading hairs; soon glabrescent; terminal spine 2−4 times longer than the uppermost leaflets. Leaflets in 4−7 pairs, greyish green, narrowly oblong to narrowly elliptic, folded, becoming flat with age, 3.5−12 × 2−4 mm, obtuse, with a mucro 0.5−1 mm, both sides densely covered with appressed, tangled hairs, soon glabrescent. Petals yellowish white, adnate to the stamen-tube only at the base. Standard 19−22 × c. 6 mm, without distinct claw, obovate-panduriform, emarginate, constricted in distal third, below the constriction roundly dilated, narrower than the upper part. Wings 18−19 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, 6−6.5 × 2−2.5 mm; auricle 0.2−0.8 mm, claw 12−13 mm. Keel 17−18.5 mm; blades obliquely obovate,with widely curved lower edge and slightly curved upper edge, rounded, 4−6−6.5 × 2.5−3 mm; claw 11−12 mm. Stamens 17−18 mm, at upper 2−3 mm free from each other. Ovary densely appressed hairy; style 12−14 mm, hairy in lower 4/5 of the length. Legumes only examined immature.
