Rootstock with a pluricipital root-crown, with branched, subterranean stolons up to 4 cm. Stems, if present, up to 3 cm. Stipules membranous, 7−11 mm, adnate for 2−3 mm to the petiole, triangular-acuminate, densely ciliate at the margins, the upper ones also hairy toward the tip. Leaves 10−22(−28) cm; petiole 2−5 cm, stout, like the rachis densely covered with spreading whitish-yellow hairs up to 1 mm. Leaflets in (8−)12−15 pairs, narrowly ovate to elliptic, (10−)14−26 × (7−)9−13 mm, rounded and minutely apiculate, on both sides densely silvery-tomentose with short subappressed to spreading hairs. Peduncles 1−3(−5 cm, with spreading hairs. Racemes 4−7 cm, loosely (2−)5−9- flowered, at fruiting time strongly elongating and up to 20 cm. Calyx (11−)13−16 mm, campanulate, densely wooly-hairy with spreading hairs; teeth unequal, subulate, 5−9 mm. Petals hairy, yellow. Standard 17−20 mm; blade 4−5 mm wide, narrowly oblong, emarginate, in the middle slightly constricted, subangularly passing into the short, wide claw, densely hairy on the back. Wings 14−16 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded to slightly emarginate, c. 10 × 1.5−2 mm, in the upper half hairy on outside; auricle less than 1 mm, claw 4−5 mm. Keel 11−13 mm; blades obliquely oblong, with slightly curved lower edge and straight to slightly concave upper edge, obtuse, c. 7 × 2.5 mm, ciliate at the margin, blades only connate in lower half; auricle wide, indistinct, claw 4−5 mm. Stamen- tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary shortly stipitate, hairy; style hairy.
