Stems¸ if present, 1–3 cm, very densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs c. 0.5 mm, densely clothed in stipules and petioles. Stipules scarious, 5–8 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 1 mm, vaginate-connate up to the middle, with triangular tips, densely covered with appressed, medifixed white hairs, the upper ones sometimes partly glabrescent. Leaves 15–20 cm; petiole 4–8 cm, with the rachis hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 3–5 pairs, elliptic to obovate, 15–22(–35) × 8–15(–30) mm, acute to subobtuse, mintely mucronulate, on both sides sparsely to loosely covered with medifixed, appressed hairs 0.6–1.2 mm. Peduncles 16–35 cm, erect, sulcate, loosely hairy like the stem. Raceme (fruiting) 10–23 cm long with 8–20 fruits. Bracts scarious, 3–7 mm, narrowly triangular, at the margins black hairy, sometimes with few minute glands. Pedicels 2–3 mm, with blackish hairs. Calyx 12–15 mm, tubular, slightly inflated, ruptured by the legumes, rather sparsely covered with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, appressed black hairs 0.6–1.5 mm; teeth narrowly triangular, 3–5 mm, white and black hairy on inner side. Petals yellowish. Standard c. 23 mm; blade c. 8 mm wide, elliptic. emarginate, gradually narrowed at the base. Legumes sessile, narrowly ellipsoid, (11–)14–15 mm long, 4–5 mm high and 3 mm wide, keeled ventrally, rounded or shallowly grooved dorsally, acute, bilocular; valves brown, densely villous with long white hairs.
