Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. III, p. 2337Plants 10−15(−25) cm tall, subacaulescent to shortly caulescent, loosely caespitose. Rootstock repeatedly branched, covered with grey blackish bark. Stems branched at the base, often with short, non-flowering brachyblasts, parts of the current year 1−5 cm, angular-sulcate, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs c. 1 mm. Stipules 2−4 mm, triangular, acuminate, adnate to the petiole for 1.5−2 mm, otherwise free from each other, appressed hairy. Leaves (1.5−)3−7 cm; petiole 1−3 cm, like the rachis loosely to densely covered with ± medifixed, subappressed to partly slightly ascending, tangled white hairs 0.5−1 mm. Leaflets in 3−4 pairs (in brachyblasts often in 2 pairs only), narrowly ovate, (8−)10−28 × 3−8(−12) mm, acute, on both sides densely covered with appressed white hairs 0.6−1 mm. Peduncles 5−7 cm, sulcate, hairy like the rachis, below the raceme sometime with few black hairs mixed in. Racemes 2.5−4 cm in fruit up to 7 cm long, ovoid, densely many-flowered. Bracts whitish, 1.5−2 mm, narrowly triangular, black hairy. Flowers subsessile. Calyx 8−10 mm, at the beginning of anthesis slightly ovoid-tubular, soon inflated, in fruit white-membranous, 8−10 mm, subglobose-bladdery, constricted at the mouth, loosely to rather densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.5−0.8 mm, in upper part and at the teeth with some black hairs mixed in, calyx in fruit sparsely to loosely hairy; teeth subulate, c. 1 mm, white hairy on inner side. Petals pale yellowish to whitish. Standard 13−14 mm; blade 4−5 mm wide, elliptic, retuse to widely emarginate, below the middle slightly constricted, at the base slightly angularly passing into the claw. Wings 13−14 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 5−5.5 × 1 mm; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw 8−8.5 mm. Keel 10−12 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and scarcely curved upper edge, subacute, 3 × 1.5 mm; auricle minute, claw 7−9 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, appressed white hairy; style hairy in lower third. Legumes sessile, enclosed in the calyx, ellipsoid, c. 4 mm long, 2.5 mm high and 2 mm wide, rounded dorsally and ventrally, abruptly contracted into a straight, hairy beak c. 2 mm, unilocular; valves densely covered with medifixed, subappressed white hairs c. 1 mm. Seed one, 2.5 × 1.8 mm, pale brown, smooth.
