Stems (only in tall plants) up to 1.5 cm, angular-sulcate, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs c. 0.8 mm. Stipules membranous, 3−4 mm, adnate to the petiole often nearly for the whole length, densely appressed white hairy, free tips triangular, often glabrous or slightly ciliate. Leaves (2−)3−7(−10) cm; petiole (1−)1.5−4(−6) cm, with the rachis densely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 1−4 remote pairs, narrowly elliptic, (6−)8−15(−20) × (2−)3−5(−7) mm, acute or subobtuse, on both sides densely covered medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.8−1 mm. Peduncles (5−)8−15(−20) cm, densely hairy like the stem, partly glabrescent with age. Racemes (5−)8−15(−20) cm long, loosely (6−)13−20-flowered. Bracts white-hyaline, 1−2 mm, ovate- triangular, glabrous or sparsely white hairy, sometimes with minute sessile glands at the base. Pedicels 1−1.5 mm, white hairy. Calyx 7−9(−10) mm, campanulate-tubular, rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.4−1 mm, at the throat and the teeth sometimes with few black hairs mixed in, glabrescent with age; teeth subulate to narrowly triangular, 1.5−2 mm, hairy on inner side. Petals pink. Standard 13−17(−20) mm; blade obovate or elliptic, 5−6 mm wide, scarcely retuse, abruptly contracted into the short claw. Wings 11−14(−16) mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 6−8 × 2 mm; auricle 0.5 mm, claw 5−6 mm. Keel 9−10(−12) mm; blades obliquely obovate, with widely curved lower edge and slightly sigmoid upper edge, acute, c. 4 × 2 mm; auricle minute, claw 5−6 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary subsessile, white hairy. Legumes sessile, erect, narrowly oblong, ± curved, 10−15 mm long, 2.5−3.5 mm high, c. 2 mm wide, compressed laterally, acutely keeled ventrally, narrowly grooved dorsally, with a ± reflexed beak 2−3 mm, incompletely bilocular; valves thinly coriceous, pale greenish brown, densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.4−1 mm, glabrescent with age.
