Stems in older parts 3−5(−10) cm, ligneous, ascending or decumbent, with greyish to brownish bark; stems of the current year c. 5 cm, slender, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.5−0.8 mm. Stipules greenish, 1−2 mm, ovate-triangular, densely white hairy. Leaves 5−8 cm; petiole 0.5−3 cm, with the rachis slender, densely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 5−8 pairs, narrowly elliptic, 6−12 × 0.7−2.5 mm, obtuse to slightly retuse, covered on upper loosely, on underside rather densely with medifixed, appressed white hairs c. 1 mm. Peduncles 5−10 cm, slender, loosely hairy like the stem, below the raceme with few black hairs mixed in. Racemes 2−2.5 cm long, densely (3−)5−10-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, c. 2 mm, narrowly triangular, black hairy. Calyx 9−12 mm, tubular, rather densely covered with ± medifixed, appressed black hairs 0.2−0.5 mm and with asymmetrically bifurcate, ± ascending white hairs c. 1 mm; teeth subulate, 2−4 mm. Legumes sessile, densely crowded, narrowly oblong, 10−20 mm long, 3−4 mm high and wide, keeled ventrally, widely and shallowly grooved dorsally, triangular in cross-section, with an oblique beak 1.5−3 mm, bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed black hairs 0.20.5 mm and with asymmetrically bifurcate. ± ascending white hairs c. 1 mm in different relations.
