Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 694Plants up to 28 cm tall, acaulescent to subacaulescent, sparsely white hairy. Rootstock branched with short subterranean stolons. Stems up to 5 cm tall, sulcate, sparsely hairy. Stipules white- membranous, 8−10 mm, triangular, adnate to the petiole, ciliate at the margins. Leaves c. 24−25 cm; petiole up to 6 cm, like the rachis covered with spreading hairs. Leaflets in c. 15 pairs, ovate to obovate, 12−16 × 9−10 mm, rounded to emarginate, on upper side glabrous, on underside and at the margins sparsely furnished with spreading hairs. Peduncles up to 2.5 cm, sparsely covered with spreading hairs. Racemes loosely 2−3-flowered. Bracts 10−12 mm, linear-acuminate, ciliate. Pedicels 9−10 mm, with spreading hairs. Calyx 18−25 mm, tubular, sparsely hairy; teeth subulate-filiform, 8−10 mm. Petals dark violet. Standard 27−28 mm; blade 13−15 mm wide, nearly orbicular, widely emarginate, abruptly contracted into a narrow claw up to 11 mm. Wings 25−27 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, 12−3 × 4−4.5 mm; auricle 2.5−3 mm, claw 13−14 mm. Keel up to 23 mm; blades oblong-curved, with nearly rectangularly curved lower edge and slightly concave upper edge (most probably furnished with minute teeth ??), slightly beak-like narrowed toward the obtuse tip, 7−8 × 3.5−4 mm: auricle indistinct, claw 14−5 mm. Ovary stipitate, densely long hairy; style glabrous. Legumes (unripe) stipitate, up to 20 mm long and 10 mm high; valves densely villous.
