Tavsif · Description
Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. II, p. 1123Plants 10–25 cm tall, often densely caespitose, prostrate to ascending, nearly acaulescent, with thin, spreading, white (in the inflorescence also with black) hairs 0.5–2 mm. Rootstock up to 8 mm in diameter, with a pluricipital root-crown, repeatedly divided, with short to strongly elongated subterranean branches. Stems 1–4 cm, densely covered with obliquely spreading hairs. Stipules 5–8 mm, the lower ones shorter and wider, the upper once narrowly triangular, longer, loosely hairy, adnate to the petiole for 2–3 mm, shortly vaginate-connate behind the stem. Leaves 5–11 cm; petiole 1.5–4 cm, like the rachis bisulcate adaxially, loosely to rather densely covered with spreading hairs 0.5−2 mm. Leaflets in 9–13 pairs, elliptic to obovate, 4–9 × 2–5 mm, obtuse to slightly emarginate, on upper side covered sparsely to loosely, on underside mostly more densely with appressed to spreading hairs. Peduncle one in each stem, 5–16 cm, finely angularly-striate, loosely to rather densely covered with long, tangled, spreading white hairs. Raceme short, very densely many-flowered, somewhat elongated but always dense in fruit, up to 8 cm long. Bracts whitish to greenish, linear to narrowly triangular, 4–7 mm, white and black hairy. Flowers subsessile. Calyx 8–13 mm, tubular, densely covered with spreading, long white and black hairs, white hairs especially at the ventral (upper) side, black hairs especially at the dorsal (lower) side; teeth subulate, finely-acuminate, 3–4 mm, hairy on inner side. Petals violet. Standard 17–18 mm; blade 6–7.5 mm wide, widest in the middle, rhombic, tongue-like narrowed upward, emarginate, gradually narrowed at the base. Wings 14 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 8 × 1.5 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 6–7 mm. Keel 12 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with widely, nearly rectangularly curved lower edge and ± straight upper edge, subacute, 5 × 2 mm; auricle minute, claw 7 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, white hairy; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, obliquely ellipsoid, 6–8 mm long, 3–4 mm high and wide, keeled ventrally, distinctly grooved dorsally, with a slender, hooked beak, bilocular; valves thin, straw-colored to pale brownish, rather densely covered with soft, spreading white hairs up to 3 mm, sitting on little tubercles and sometimes with much fewer very short hairs 0.2–0.3 mm. Seeds 2–3 in each locule, quadrangular- reniform to somewhat oblong, 2–3 × 2 mm, brownish, dull.
