Leaflets in 4−5 pairs, cuneate-oblong to obovate, 4−7(−9) mm long, widely retuse, on upper side glabrous, on underside densely covered with spreading hairs. Racemes subsessile (peduncle 2−3 mm long, with spreading hairs), (3−)5−8(−9)-flowered. Bracts whitish-membranous, up to 1 mm, ovate, white ciliate. Flowers sessile or subsessile. Calyx 1 mm, white hairy; teeth c. 0.5 mm. Petals pale lilac. Standard up to 5 × 1−2 mm, narrowly oblong, widely retuse, without distinct claw. Wings c. 3.5 mm; blades obtuse. Keel 3 mm. Ovary sessile. Legumes narrowly ovoid, acute, 5−6 mm long, keeled ventrally, widely grooved dorsally, triangular in cross- section; valves with short spreading hairs.
