Stems several or singular, ascending to erect, 2−16 cm, slender, angular, sometimes completely glabrous. Stipules membranous, triangular-acuminate, 1−2 mm, shortly adnate to the petiole, sparsely ciliate or glabrous. Leaves 2−5 cm; petiole of different length, 0.3−2 cm or completely absent, like the rachis slender, bisulcate adaxially, very sparsely hairy. Leaflets in (3−)4−7 pairs, narrowly obovate, 3−10 × 1−3 mm, distinctly emarginate, at the base long- cuneate, on upper side glabrous, on underside very sparsely hairy or glabrous. Peduncles 1−3 cm, slender, hairy like the stem. Racemes rather densely 3−5-flowered. Bracts membranous, 0.5−1(−1.5) mm, ciliate. Legumes sessile, nodding, linear, distinctly to semicircularly curved, 10−20 mm long, c. 3 mm high, 2 mm wide, keeled ventrally, deeply grooved dorsally, long acuminate, completely bilocular; valves thin, tough, with distinct, elevated, net-like connected transversal nerves which form at both sides of the dorsal groove thickish bulges, brownish, glabrous.
