Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 625Plants 10−35(−40) cm tall, subacaulescent to caulescent, covered with fine, soft, whitish or in dry state also reddish hairs 1−3 mm. Rootstock with a pluricipital root-crown. Stems mostly present, several, up to 20(−30) cm, angular-sulcate, rather densely covered with spreading hairs of unequal length, 1−2 mm, leaves equally distributed but in upper part more densely crowded. Stipules white- membranous, 5−8 mm, adnate to the petiole for 1−3 mm, long ciliate at the margins, the lower ones acuminate from widely triangular base, the upper ones narrowly triangular. Leaves (8−)10−15(−18) cm; petiole 3−5 cm, like the rachis loosely to rather densely covered with spreading hairs. Leaflets in 11−16 pairs, obovate to nearly orbicular, 4−8(−10) × 3−6(−10) mm, rounded to slightly retuse, with a whitish or reddish, cartilagineous margin, on upper side glabrous or rarely with scattered appressed hairs, on underside loosely to densely covered with soft, nearly spreading hairs. Racemes mostly distributed over the whole stem length, with a peduncle 0.5−3 cm with spreading hairs, loosely 3−8- flowered. Bracts white-membranous, 5−8 mm, linear-acute. densely ciliate. Pedicels 2−5 mm, hairy. Calyx 11−20(−25) mm, tubular, densely covered with spreading hairs; teeth subulate, 5−6 mm. Petals partly hairy, yellowish white or whitish and often pink-suffused. Standard (16−)18−30(−32) mm; blade 8−11 mm wide, obovate, slightly emarginate, at the base gradually narrowed, in upper half on the backside densely appressed hairy. Wings (15−)17−28 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded to subacute, 10−12 × 3 mm, glabrous; auricle c. 2 mm, claw 9−16 mm. Keel (14−)15−24 mm; blades obliquely elliptic, with widely curved lower edge and concave or sigmoid upper edge, obtuse to subacute, 7−10(−11) × 3−4.5 mm, glabrous; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 8−13 mm. Stamen-tube slightly obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe 3−6 mm, appressed hairy; style sparsely hairy up to the middle. Legumes with a stipe 2−6 mm, narrowly oblong, 20−40 mm long, (6−)7−8(−10) mm high and 7−9 mm wide, keeled ventrally, widely grooved dorsally, with a curved beak 2−5 mm, bilocular; valves subcoriaceous, brownish, loosely covered with spreading hairs.
