III, p. 1934Plants 30−50 cm tall, shrubby: Stems in old parts covered with brownish-grey bark; parts of the current year densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs, sometimes with few black hairs mixed in. Stipules greenish, 2−4 mm, narrowly triangular to triangular, white and black hairy. Leaves 5−15 cm; petiole short, white hairy with few black hairs mixed in. Leaflets in 2−5 pairs, narrowly elliptic, obtuse but mostly minutely apiculate, on both sides appressed hairy. Peduncles 10−25 cm, covered with appressed white and less numerous black hairs. Racemes 2−7 cm long, densely many- flowered. Bracts 4−6 mm, oblong to narrowly triangular, white and black hairy. Pedicels 2−3 mm. Flowers erect to spreading. Calyx 12−16 mm, tubular, covered with spreading white hairs and appressed black hairs; teeth subulate, c. 3−4 mm, black hairy. Petals pink. Standard 20−25 mm; blade obovate, rounded, gradually narrowed at the base. Wings 20−22 mm. Keel 18−20 mm. Legumes horizontally spreading to slightly nodding, narrowly oblong, 20−24 mm long, c. 6 mm high and wide, with a beak c. 5 mm; valves white and black hairy.
