Stems of the current year 5−25 cm, slender, pale brown, slightly sulcate, sparsely to rather densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.3−0.5 mm, at the nodes with black hairs mixed in. Stipules membranous, often with greenish tip, 4−8 mm, adnate to the petiole for c. 2 mm, loosely appressed white and black hairy. Leaves 2.5−6 cm; petiole 0.5−1.5(−2) cm, with the rachis sparsely to loosely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 5−10 pairs, narrowly oblong, 10−28 × (3−)4−7 mm, obtuse to slightly emarginate or shortly acuminate, on upper side glabrous or nearly so, on underside covered with medifixed, appressed hairs 0.7−1 mm. Peduncles up to 6(−8) cm, sparsely covered with medifixed, appressed white and toward the raceme increasing black hairs 0.2−0.3 mm. Racemes 3−8 cm long, one-sided, 8−many-flowered. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile. Legumes sessile, narrowly ovoid to narrowly ellipsoid, grooved dorsally, abruptly contracted into the subulate, slightly curved beak 1−1.5 mm, bilocular; valves coriaceous, covered with spreading black and very sparsely with white hairs.
