Stem 3−18 cm, ascending or erect, rather densely hairy. Stipules 2−3 mm, narrowly triangular, nearly free from petiole, white or black and white hairy. Leaves 2−5 cm; petiole 0.5−1.2 cm, often curved, loosely hairy. Leaflets in 3−5 pairs, obovate, 6−10 × 2.5−6 mm, rounded to emarginate, on upper side glabrous, on underside with subappressed to spreading, tangled hairs. Racemes subsessile or with a peduncle up to 1.5 cm and hairy like the stem, very loosely 1−4-flowered. Bracts 1−1.5 mm, very narrowly triangular, white hairy. Pedicels c. 1 mm, hairy. Calyx campanulate, 2.5−3 mm, white and black, rarely merely white hairy; teeth c. 1 mm. Petals whitish with violet-tipped keel. Standard 7−8 × c. 3 mm, rhombic-elliptic, narrowly rounded to very shallowly retuse, at the base gradually narrowed. Wings 6−6.5 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, c. 4.5 × 1.2−1.5 mm; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw c. 2 mm. Keel 5.5−6 mm; blades oblique- elliptic, subacute, c. 3.5 × 1.2−1.5 mm; auricle minute, claw c. 2 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Legumes sessile, strongly compressed from dorsal side and seen from there widely elliptic, on both ends rounded to subacute, similar to the fruits of Thlaspi, 15−25 mm long, c. 1 mm high, 12−20 mm wide, slightly concave ventrally, slightly convex dorsally, bilocular; valves very thin, glabrous, at the margins with densely transversely nerved wing 2−4 mm wide and minutely irregularly denticulate. Fruit when ripe dissoluting into two parts. Seeds few, 3.5−5 mm long, yellowish, smooth, shiny.
