Stems of the current year (2−)10−20 cm, in lower part very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.6−0.8 mm, with black hairs mixed in, in upper part loosely hairy, glabrescent with age. Stipules greenish, 7−10(−13) mm, adnate to the petiole for 4−5 mm, the free tips ovate to oblong, subglabrous or sparsely white and black hairy, especially at the margins. Leaves (4−)7−13 cm, subsessile; rachis deeply sulcate adaxially, with scattered white hairs. Leaflets in (6−)7−8(−11) pairs, narrowly elliptic, (7−)13−27(−30) × 3−9 mm, acute-mucronulate, on both sides sparsely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.7−1 mm. Peduncles c. 12−22 cm, erect, sparsely to loosely covered with white and black hairs 0.3−0.8 mm. Racemes (3−)5−7 cm long, rather densely many-flowered, elongating up to 12 cm in fruit; axis black hairy. Bracts whitish- membranous to slightly greenish, 5−10 mm, linear, black or black and white hairy, at the margins with basifixed hairs c. 1 mm. Pedicels c. 0.5 mm, black hairy. Calyx (10−)12−15 mm, tubular, obliquely cut at the mouth, covered with subbasifixed, subappressed to ascending white hairs 1−1.5 mm and with shorter black hairs; teeth filiform, (3−)4−8 mm, sparsely hairy on inner side. Petals lilac. Standard 19−26 mm; blade rhombic-elliptic, rather long and gradually narrowed toward the slightly emarginate tip, below the middle slightly constricted, at the base obtusely angularly passing into the short claw. Wings 15−19 mm; blades narrowly oblong, subacute, c. 11 × 2.2 mm; auricle c. 1 mm, claw 7−9 mm. Keel 11−14 mm; blades obliquely obovate, with widely corved lower edge and ± straight upper edge, subobtuse, c. 5 × 2.5 mm; auricle acute, c. 0.5 mm, claw 7−9 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Legumes sessile, obliquely ascending, narrowly oblong, 13−20 mm long, 3.5−4 mm high, c. 3 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, grooved dorsally, with a slightly curved beak 4−6 mm, bilocular; valves thinly coriaceous, straw-colored, rather densely covered with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, subappressed to ascending white and black hairs 0.5−1 mm, partly glabrescent with age. Seeds two in each locule, c. 4 × 2 mm, pale brown, smooth.
