I, p. 96Plants 4–8 cm tall, Stems mostly several, 0.5–1.5 cm, unbranched or branched from the base, the side-branches longer, densely covered with short appressed white hairs c. 0.2 mm. Stipules c. 2 mm, narrowly triangular, acuminate, shortly white hairy. Leaves 2.5–7 cm; petiole slightly shorter than the blade, with the rachis slender, sparsely appressed hairy. Leaflets in (3–)4–7 pairs, linear-oblong, retuse, glabrous on upper side, appressed hairy on underside. Peduncles half as long to nearly as long as the leaves, sparsely appressed hairy. Racemes c. 1 cm long, 1–3-flowered, elongated at fruiting time to 2 cm. Bracts c. 1 mm, narrowly triangular, acuminate, black ciliate. Flowers subsessile. Calyx 3 mm, campanulate, white and black hairy; teeth subulate, c. 1.5 mm. Petals violet. Standard 5.5–6 mm; blade ovate, retuse, with a short claw. Wings 4.5 mm; blades narrowly oblong, obtuse, 2–2.5 times as long as the claw. Keel 4 mm. Legumes sessile, obliquely narrowly elliptic, 14–21 mm long, 3.5–4 mm high, compressed laterally, c. 2 mm wide, keeled ventrally by the straight nerve, grooved at the curved dorsal side, with a straight beak 2–3 mm, nearly fully bilocular; valves coriaceous, covered with appressed white hairs.
