Stems branched, parts of the current year 10−34 cm, very densely covered with medifixed, appressed white hairs 0.4−0.8 mm, at the nodes with some black hairs mixed in. Stipules from wide base subabruptly narrowly triangular, (2.5−)3−5 mm, adnate to the petiole for 1−2 mm, with appressed white and black hairs. Leaves 6−10 cm, those of the lateral branches mostly distinctly shorter; petiole 1−1.5 cm, with the slender rachis loosely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 5−9 pairs, narrowly elliptic, (5−)7−18 × 1.5−4 mm, obtuse to subacute or minutely acuminate, on upper side loosely, on underside densely covered with appressed white hairs 0.8−1 mm. Peduncles 12−17 cm, rather densely to densely appressed hairy like the stem, below the raceme with black hairs mixed in. Racemes oblong, many-flowered, elongating in fruit up to 7−12(−18) cm; axis covered with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, ascending black hairs 0.3−0.4 mm and with basifixed, ± spreading white hairs up to 1 mm. Petals dingy whitish violet. Standard 22−23 mm; blade slightly curved upward, c. 9 mm wide, obovate, emarginate, at the base slightly angularly passing into the narrowly cunetae claw. Wings 20−22 mm, nearly as long as the standard; blades obovate, rounded, c. 7 × 4.5 mm; auricle c. 0.5 mm, claw c. 14 mm. Keel 18−20 mm; blades semicircular, with widely curved lower edge and slightly concave upper edge, subacute, c. 6 × 3.2 mm; auricle short, claw c. 13 mm. Stamen-tube truncate at the mouth. Ovary sessile, linear, appressed white and black hairy, c. 20−22- ovulate; style glabrous. Legumes sessile, linear, straight or scarcely curved, (15−)20−30 mm long, 2.5−3 mm high, keeled ventrally, slightly grooved dorsally, with a straight, rigid beak 6−12 mm, bilocular; valves coriaceous, densely covered with symmetrically to asymmetrically bifurcate, appressed to subappressed white and black hairs 0.7−0.8 mm.
