Stem erect, up to 8 mm in diameter at the base, striate-sulcate, covered in lower part sparsely to loosely, in upper part more densely with spreading white hairs 0.3−1 mm. Stipules greenish, filiform, 10−20 mm, nearly free from the petiole and from each other, hairy. Leaves 25−30 cm; petiole 1−2.5 cm, with the rachis densely hairy like the stem. Leaflets in 15−18 pairs, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 15−30 × 5−15 mm, rounded to minutely acuminate, on upper side glabrous, on underside ± densely covered with ascending to spreading hairs 1−2 mm.
