Rootstock undivided. Stem up to 1–1.5 cm, glabrous, covered with remnants of old stipules. Stipules firmly membranous, distinctly longitudinal nerved, green, becoming reddish with age, glabrous, free from petiole, the lower ones ovate, obtuse, 8–12 mm, the upper ones linear, acute, 15–25 mm. Leaves 8–22(–30) cm; petiole 2–5(–7) cm, like the rachis bisulcate adaxially, glabrous or especially in young leaves very sparsely covered with subappressed hairs 0.5–1(–2) mm. Leaflets grey-green, in 12–15(–20) pairs, remote, linear, long acuminate, 20–50(–70) × (0.3–)2–5(–10) mm, in the youth appressed sericeous on both sides, becoming glabrous on upper side and sparsely appressed hairy on underside, often folded, nerves on underside whitish, protruding. Peduncles 4–22(–27) cm, loosely to rather densely covered with appressed white hairs, toward the raceme increasingly with black hairs. Racemes (1–)3–7 cm, loosely (3–)5–12 flowered, elongated at fruiting time. Bract whitish greenish, narrowly triangular, acuminate,, 8–13 mm, white and black or only black hairy. Pedicels 2–5 mm, with spreading black hairs; flowers erect. Calyx tubular, slightly curved, 20–25 mm, distinctly longitudinal nerved, loosely covered with short, curled, spreading black hairs 0.1–0.2 mm and with distinctly longer white hairs up to 0.6 mm; teeth subulate, 3–6 mm. Petals brightly yellow greenish. Standard 40–55 mm; blade narrowly oblong, 8–10 mm wide, emarginate, gradually narrowed into the short claw. Wings 35–45 mm; blades narrowly oblong, rounded, 12–18 mm long; auricle c. 4 mm, claw 24–26 mm. Keel 31–40 mm; blades obliquely elliptic-curved, rounded, 10−14 mm long; claw 24−26 mm. Stamen-tube obliquely cut at the mouth. Ovary with a stipe c. 7 mm, white hairy; style hairy in lower third, below and at the stigma very shortly and densely hairy. Legumes with a stipe 7–17 mm, obliquely narrowly ellipsoid, often slightly curved, narrowed at the base, 25–35 mm long, 6–8 mm high and 10–11 mm wide, obtusely keeled ventrally, flattend oder widely grooved dorsally, with a slightly recurved beak 1–3 mm, incompletely bilocular; valvesconvex, thin but tough, loosely to rather densely covered with very short, spreading white or white and black or only black hairs 0.1–0.3 mm and loosely to rather densely covered with distinctly longer white hairs 0.5–1(–1.5) mm, glabrescent with age.
