Podlech & Zarre (2013), vol. I, p. 709Plants 10−25 cm tall, acaulescent, with white hairs. Stipules white-membranous, 5−12 mm, shortly adnate to the petiole, ciliate at the margins, the lower ones ovate, the upper ones very narrow. Leaves 8−26 cm; petiole and te much longer rachis loosely covered with long, spreading hairs. Leaflets in 13−19 pairs, oblong to narrowly ovate, 8−15 × 4−8 mm, widely emarginate, on upper side glabrous, on underside especially at the nerves and the margins loosely to densely furnished with spreading hairs, glabrescent with age. Racemes with a sparsely hairy peduncle 3−9 cm, loosely 2−3-flowered. Bracts membranous, 5−9 mm, linear-acuminate, ciliate. Pedicels 3.5−9 mm, sparsely hairy. Calyx 13−15 mm, tubular, glabrous or sparsely hairy; teeth narrowly triangular, 3−3.5 mm ciliate. Petals yellow, sometimes changing to red. Standard 23−25 mm; blade 11−12 mm wide, obovate, emarginate, gradually narrowed into the claw. Wings 20−21 mm; blades narrowly oblong, slightly dilated upward, rounded, c. 10 mm long; auricle long, claw 9−11 mm. Keel 18−19 mm; blades nearly triangular, with widely rectangularly curved lower edge and slightly S-like curved upper edge, probably furnished with minute teeth. Ovary with a stipe up to 6 mm, glabrous. Legumes unknown.
